Description .This Silver Jubilee medal was awarded to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Queens accession. It was awarded to 30,000 military personel through out all three services. Date 1977
Obverse a right facing profile of Queen Elizabeth 11 wearing the St Edwards crown .Reverse a crown and wreath enclosing the words THE 25TH YEAR OF THE REIGN OF QUEEN ELIXABETH11 6 FEBUARY1977
Ribbon white with thin red stripes at the edges , abroad blue stripe in the centre and a thin red stripe down the middel of it.
