This is a fantastic quality MOD licensed replacement medal for Queens Gallantry, it is minted in the UK by a very reputable company. Instituted 20 June 1974, obverse the Queen`s effigy; reverse an imperial crown above THE QUEEN`S GALLANTRY MEDAL flanked by laurel sprigs. Awarded for exemplary acts of bravery. Although intended primarily for civilians, it is also awarded to members of the armed forces for action which would not be deemed suitable for a military decoration .
