Description this Atlantic Star was awarded to lots of the Royal Navy in the second world war for service in the Atlantic.It was awarded to personnel who had completed six monthes service in specified operational commands over seas, between 3 sept 1939- 2 sept 1945.Though in certain cases the minium period was shortened.
This medal is outstanding quality .Description obverse six pointed star has a circular centre with the GRI/V1 monogram, surrounded by a crown and inscribed the Atlantic star round the foot.Ribbon Watered blue , white and green representing the ocean.
